Costs for this year: $275 for registration (to be paid in full during registration) and $350 for uniforms.
Registration costs include: Field and utility rentals, first aid kits, storage costs, cheerleader jackets, Practice/parade t-shirt, team/individual pictures, and UCA summer camp for 2-3 days (location and dates still pending but aiming for early-mid August).
We will have uniform fittings in April (dates TBD) as our uniforms are customized and it can take up to 12 weeks from ordering these until we may receive them.
If you are interested in Coaching either as a Head or an Assistant Coach for our Sideline Squads please let us know!! All new and returning coaches will be required this year to complete an application and will be interviewed.
All coaches will complete a background check and be certified for stunting/CPR/and first aid. We plan on several preseason training opportunities to ensure a good and solid start to all our coaches.
If your cheerleader is interested in our SJC Elite Competition Cheer team they must be a registered Sideline Cheerleader.
We do plan on expanding our Competition team as well and we will be looking for Coaches that may be interested in working on the Sideline and the Competition side of things..
- Open to those entering 1st grade - 8th grade in the fall of 2025
- Season runs from Mid-July through November
- Sideline cheerleaders cheer for SPJFA football teams (89ers, Juniors, Bantams, & Senior teams).
- Cheerleaders also walk in the Kla Ha Ya Days parade each July, we will be holding a "Catch Up Camp" prior to the parade for the cheerleaders to receive their camp/practice gear and to provide a refresher and teach cheers for the parade.
- Practices typically start in August and will be 3-4 days a week for 1-2 hours; this will depend on grade level and coaching staff. We cheer for the Snohomish Panthers Junior Football Association (SPJFA) teams for 7 Saturdays between mid-August through the end of October but bowl games/championship will go until the second Saturday of November.
- Squad Assignments will be announced toward the end of the 1st full week of practice .
- Each cheerleader will need a pair of WHITE athletics shoes. It is best to practice in the shoes they will be wearing all season. If you have any questions about shoes let us know. We will post a few links with the uniform mock up as well.
